What we collect

• Account details: your email address and, if you add them, your name and pen name.
• Author branding you save: bio, logo and copyright line.
• Your work: book titles, outlines, chapters, covers, design settings and selling copy.
• Payment records: tier purchased, amount, reference and date.
• Basic usage records used to run credits, fair-use limits and error reporting.

We never see or store your full card details — those are handled entirely by our payment processor.

Why we use it

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To generate, save and export your books, and keep unfinished work waiting for you.
• To apply your tier, book credits and fair-use limits.
• To confirm payments and provide support.
• To detect abuse and keep the studio secure.

AI processing

The prompts you enter — niche choices, titles, outlines and chapter text — are sent to our AI providers so the studio can research, write, proofread and design on your behalf. We do not sell your manuscripts, and we do not publish your books for you.

Who else processes your data

We rely on service providers to run the studio: hosting and database/storage for your account and books, AI providers for generation, and Paystack for payments. They process data only to deliver those services.

Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on secured infrastructure with access rules that restrict each account to its own records. We keep your books for as long as your account exists, and payment records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and ask us to close your account. Email brandedbusinessautomation@gmail.com and we will act on it. Deleting your account removes your books permanently, so download your files first.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your studio settings. We do not run advertising trackers.

Children

Artistrybooks is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
